Glee got a two-season renewal at the end of last season, but those deals are usually contingent on a certain rating level, and if the ratings slide badly enough, Fox could find a way out of that sixth season.

I thought the first episode back from the break was quite solid. Some of the lines reminded me of the first season. I didn't expect to like Demi Lovato, but I've enjoyed her character (as limited as it has been).
