Cool, this'll be my first HD disc! The site says it's still being authored though so who knows how long it'll take to get here. Still have to pick up a Warner title while they've still got that HD intro on them, want to get an early Blu-Ray disc too.

I hope no one is eagerly awaiting the disc because I emailed them over the weekend and they stated that they're still authoring the discs so when they replicate them then they will ship them out. They said expect around the middle of November.

Aren't the test patterns going to be take from Joe Kane's HD Video Essentials? If so, you're going to be wait for a long time.

Yes they are. We won't see the sampler disc until they figure out what they're doing with the HD Video Essentials.
