It's 16:9 anamorphic, very tightly matted with occasional head and hat loss, and grainy. Acceptable, but not much more. But if you like the movie, you'll want to have it.

Sorry to read this film isn't getting a better treatment.
I did notice that Turner Classic Movies aired it a few weeks prior to the film's
release on DVD.

It isn't very comforting to know that, at least the movie itself is worth getting.
