Weird question, I know. I've got a co-worker who's got a coaxial digital out on his cable box and only a single optical input on his HTIB (clearly I was not consulted on this purchase).

Anyway, is there such a thing, cable or otherwise that will enable him to get digital sound from his cable box to his receiver?

    Thanks.

Radio Shack sells a small converter that goes from one to the other. It's not a cable, but a small converter box. (You need some electronics and power to convert the light to an electrical signal). It runs about $30 I think.
