    1. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army - B-
    2. Pan's Labyrinth - B-
    3. Hellboy - C
(the opening scene was interesting, too bad it was only the setup for a mediocre film)
    4. Blade II - C (instantly, and I mean instantly, forgettable)
    5. The Devil's Backbone - D (more a crime movie than a horror pic and fails miserably at both)

    Own: 0

I've seen Del Toro in person.

The Devil's Backbone (2001) - C+ (starts out really strong, and then devolves into standard fare)
Mimic (1997) - B+ (really underrated modern monster movie)
    Cronos (1993) - B+

So, to go back on track....I thought Blade II was by far the best of the three Blade flicks.

    2. Hellboy II: The Golden Army
    3. Pan's Labyrinth
    4. Devil's Backbone

    Out of 4 stars:

    Hellboy: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
I bought the 2-disc set for the great UPA cartoons (Gerald McBoing Boing et al) and ended up liking the movie.

I'm somewhat interested in The Devil's Backbone.
