In a way, this was the series finale. It was very much a finale to the last three seasons. The show started with the conflicts of Roman and the compound, being exposed and cast aside by LDS, and, of course, the insecurities of the characters.
Most of these issues have now been resolved. But, as with any show/story with solid characters, you can follow their lives and explore new conflicts and issues. Some of the things I'm looking forward to: how Bill goes about running his new church, how it will conflict with his businesses, how Nikki's daughter fits into the fold, how they handle Sarah's marriage, what will Ben do? go to BYU or follow his dad? What will Barb's part be in this new church? And, of course, I'm anxious to see how Margine's business venture turns out. And, new things can always pop up. Will Alby go to jail or be free? Will Roman's widow exert power? Is Selma headed to prison? And, what about Bill's brother (now a murderer) and his family?
Lots of new fun to be had!
