Hi guys.

Long story short. I have a older receiver that only handle 1080p at max resolution.

Now when i just bought a 4K TV "LG 65UF860V" the choice was simple. Just run the HDMI cable from the HTPC stright to the TV.

But how do i manage the sound? As i see it i only have 3 option.

1. HDMI cable between HTPC and TV, and one more from the TV's ARC to the receiver

2. Coax between HTPC and receiver, but as far as i know, coax is not as good as HDMI regarding the sound? Don't know why, it's only what i've been reading on other forums.

3. Buy a active HDMI splitter which is kinda expensive.

So what should you guys have done?
