2 8" Energy subs vs 1 Klipsch 12" (1 Viewer)

I currently have a 3yr old Sub-12 to the left of my display stand, which is rated to 24hz and downfiring. I've seen a great deal on Energy ESW-8's, where I would buy two. Front firing (downfiring port) and rated to 36hz. Would it be ideal to use 2 8's or stick with the one 12.

The 12 plays lower. Dual 8's will play louder. Get the one(s) that meet your goal.
