Season 1: A few words about...™ - Yellowjackets -- in Blu-ray

After lengthy COVID-related and then climate-related production delays, the second season of Showtime's acclaimed series -- about a varsity soccer team who survived a plane crash and then a year a half in the wilderness back in the nineties -- has begun production on its second season:


Liv Hewson, who plays the teenage version of the team's goalkeeper, Vanessa "Van" Palmer, has been promoted to series regular.

• Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under") has joined the cast as the adult version of Van.

Courtney Eaton, who plays the teenage version of possibly clairvoyant Lottie Matthews, has also been promoted to series regular.

• Simone Kessell ("Of Kings and Prophets") has joined the cast as the adult version of Lottie.

Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings) will recur as "Walter, a dedicated citizen detective who will challenge Misty (Christina Ricci) in ways she won’t see coming."
