A friend of mine told me about a movie that is supposed to come out from France about a new "sport" called Yamikazi, which sounds like running around urban centers doing Jackie Chan like climbing and bouncing about. The group of people who started this are supposedly real, but the movie is supposed to be a vehicle to "sell" this new "sport" idea. Sounds like goofy fun, but I haven't heard about it from anyone but him. Am I being lied to? Is there such a movie?

Yes, Yamakasi is a real film.
Produced by Luc Besson, it has been in release in France since April 4th.
