I have had this unit since1996 and it works great although a bit out dated, its a great piece for a person just getting into hometheater. It has an RF input for DD laser discs.$75.00 plus shipping. No original box.

Robert, what type of inputs and outputs does it have? Does it have a 5.1 pass-through? Thanx.

It has one RF input, one coaxial input, one optical input and six analog rca outputs to carry the dolby digital signal to a receiver/preamp that has six inputs. Its kind of old technology but works fine.

Ahhh .. the DDP1. This was THE 1st DD decoder on the market.
What a great piece. I used to have one of these.
Great looking piece as well. $75 is a steal especially with the RF out.

Thanks for the relpy Robert. I've been in MI for 25 years and love the lake. I have the RVX-2090 which like the 990 does not have the .1 input of the 5.1. How did you control the crossover of the sub and mains?
How does the volume control work with sub and mains?
I have a few questions on set up etc. It may be easier to handle through email. You can email me anytime.
Thank you
Rich
