This is the first that I've heard of this? Where did this information come from? I've been waiting for this for years, and only recently broke down and bought the SuperBit version.

Fingers crossed for more Ozu releases from Criterion in the Fall.

That's about it for me. I'll wait for HD for the Kubrick titles, the Maltese Falcon reissue, etc. I already own these and am not interested in buying them again now, and then buying again in a future cycle given how little I watch the discs in my own collection.

Does anyone else remember reading a few months ago that Disney was planning on releasing a DVD set of all their Oscar nominated shorts sometime this summer? As someone who loves the Treasures series, but missed Silly Symphonies, I would love a chance to pick up The Ugly Duckling, Three Pigs, Lambert, and others.

Anyone heard anything about this release?

I can't wait for the Amazing Stories Season 1 set in a few weeks.

Beyond that the un-edited Eyes Wide Shut release is my next most wanted title.

I noticed that TCM are having tributes to both Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman during July. Perhaps an announcement on both isn't too far away.......

Is Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf 2 disc set the only known title in the Burton/Taylor collection?

Yes, that's all we know at this point. But I would imagine that it would also include The VIPs, The Sandpiper, and The Comedians. Either way, I just can't wait to hear an announcement!

The Superman box set. I don't care much for III and IV, but I still want the whole set. I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm hoping for a more "traditional" box set packaging, rather than a Planet of the Apes-style bust of Supes with the discs inside, or that Matrix plastic chest of drawers. I have a gift certificate from Christmas that I've been hanging on to for this purpose.

The Kubrick re-releases, especially the un-edited "Eyes Wide Shut."

"Blade Runner." It WILL be nice to see the original version again.

The Star Wars trilogy: even though they're not what they should be, I want them on DVD.

Ask me again in a month, and I'll probably add "Dead Man's Chest," "Cars," and "X3" to that list, I just don't get to the movies very often...
