My personal top three would be:

Out Of The Past
Bad Day At Black Rock
Cat On A Hot Tin Roof

I'll second Ryan's Daughter and add a few others:

The Yearling
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1939)
The Naked Spur
The Hanging Tree
Friendly Persuasion
The Outsiders

Of course it would be great to see all these titles come to blu.

The title of this thread is a little confusing at first glance. Might I politely suggest it be changed to WHAT CLASSIC MOVIES DO YOU MOST WANT WB TO RELEASE ON BLU? I think it will generate more traffic rather than appearing to be competing with another thread that is asking about musicals. Both threads having musicals in the title might dissuade people from posting. Just a suggestion.

My top 10 in order of how much I want:

The Spirit of St. Louis
Them!
The Thing (From Another World) -- the original and still the best!
The Americanization of Emily
Looney Tunes Back in Action
Time After Time
The Late Show (with all the scenes; the DVD leaves out at least one.)
To Have and Have Not
The Big Sleep
Angels in the Outfield (original b&w)

There are too many for me to list, but I think the above posters have mostly covered my WB wishlist.

I love a list, here's ten that would get me ordering at the speed of light:

The Sea Hawk '40
They Were Expendable '45
She Wore A Yellow Ribbon '49
Scaramouche '52
The Big Sky '52
The Bad & The Beautiful '52
Bad Day At Black Rock '55
The Last Hunt '55
The Great Race '65
Harper '66

I wonder if Warner ever found good elements for The Big Sky? There must be a decent print somewhere in the world, I'll take the short version over the nothing version. The Scaramouche DVD looks so good, I can only imagine what the Blu would look like. And no list would be complete without The Great Race.

Would like to see one of Altman's best...."McCabe & Mrs. Miller" (1971) on blu-ray along with a Welles double feature of "The Magnificent Ambersons" and "Journey into Fear". Also Truffaut's "Day For Night" and there was talk of a blu-ray release soon of "The Best Years Of Our Lives" so i am still waiting for that.

The Bramble Bush

Hey, you're optimistic! The Dark At The Top Of The Stairs and The Bramble Bush have not yet come out even on DVD! I'd love to know why.

I would buy BRDs of all those films.

Point Blank, Get Carter, McCabe & Mrs. Miller...all masterpieces. The Big Sleep and Key Largo are way, way overdue. Wonder what's taking them so long to put them out on Blu-ray.
