HO! HO! HO! MERRY CHRISTMAS

[c] [/c]

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed advertisements, the Sunday of the week of release (so as to catch any week-of-release sale prices). All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price. If a price is marked "$_N/A_" in the grid, it means that this title is not shown as available on that chain's website or perhaps in their ads...but it COULD still be in-stores!

$_"LP" means the advertisement says "Low Price", and $_"HP" means the advertisement says "Hot Price". Use of either of these in the Roundup grid indicates that I could not locate a definate price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I only include the titles I feel like including. In fact, the titles are pretty much the ones I'm personally interested in, with few exceptions. I don't get paid for this, and I don't have time to devote to doing every DVD. I have a lovely wife and a five-year-old son I'd rather spend time with. Please don't complain. If there is a title not included in the Roundup that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone...like I do!

Note that Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii. Also note that I cannot include Wal-Mart prices in the standard Roundup: Wal-Mart sets prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is not a way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart location. When it comes to Wal-Mart prices mentioned at all, just remember that "Your Milage May Vary".

None! But lots and lots of them coming after New Years'!!

A VERY short week this time, perhaps my shortest ever. Enjoy the break from emptying your wallet, and be safe this holiday season.

Dave,

Happy Holidays to you and your family!! Thanks for all your efforts each and every week.

Unfortunately, when the slow release weeks come along, I find myself beefing up my overseas collection...LOL!

Merry Xmas! and thanks as always!
I may get JC2, it was MST3K style bad but somehow entertaining. The Medallion was awful, although I would like to see the original Hong Kong cut, this seemed to be so chopped up.
Anything Else is also a possibility. I enjoyed that in the theater.

ANyway, small week, YES!

BTW, I haven't seen a lot of press for it but supposedly Nil By Mouth is coming this week. It was Gary Oldman's directorial debut. It was amazing!

I pretty much finished up my Christmas shopping at Best Buy this morning with the $8 titles mixed in with a decent $15-$20 title for each person left on my gift giving list.

Everybody might want to head over to Costco for some seriously nutty prices on Fox titles. They have the Quadrilogy set for $42($62-$20 taken off at the register). They have Fox TV sets, excluding Buffy 5 and Firefly, for $25 each. They also have Fox animated TV sets for $20 each. Costco has really stepped up this past year with some incredible deals. :emoji_thumbsup:

Those Costco prices sound insanely great. I just mentioned it to my wife, and she simply stared at me and said "you don't know what is under the tree".

 I hate this!!

Son of gun I just posted about the AQ deal and was just there -- Wish I had known about the Fox deals as I could still use Buffy Season 4 and now is the time to get Family Guy at $20 a piece. You can't beat that with a stick!!!

Looks like I am heading back to Costco soon.

Finally, a week with nothing I even remotely want.

Thanks Dave for all your hard work this year. It would be interesting to know just how much money you've collectively saved the members hear. Have a merry Christmas and a great new year.

I thought "Anything else" came out last week? They were selling tons of copies at _ _ S _ _ U _ last week. Perhaps I could have made some money on ebay to help finance Christmas. ;)
