Preservation elements? Does that mean the original negative is already gone for this 1994 epic?

I've never seen this movie, but Roger Ebert's review is one of his funniest, and makes me want to check it out.

I have seen it. Snooze fest. Barely watchable even if only for the prettyish visuals. Someone out there will or does like it.

I enjoyed this splashy over-the-top epic, which to a small degree explains some things about Easter Island. If the picture quality is good I plan to pick it up at some point.

I’m partial to Stewart Copeland’s percussion-heavy score, which doesn’t appear to be available on CD or iTunes. I might pick up this disc just to hear the music again.

The score was available on CD from Milan Records back in the day. May be OOP. I am attaching a track (Main Title) from it here.
