Universal City, California, November 16, 2021 – Daniel Craig delivers the “best Bond we’ve ever had” (IGN) and a “stunning and surprising finale” (Empire) in NO TIME TO DIE, the extraordinary 25thinstallment of the James Bond series, available to own for the first time on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™ and DVD Collector’s Editions on December 21, 2021 from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Generating more than $700 million worldwide and Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, fans can now bring home NO TIME TO DIE in time for the holidays with more than an hour of bonus content exploring the action, spectacle and stunts. With highlights including the Being James Bond 45-minute retrospective on 4K Ultra HD and four exclusive and exciting featurettes, viewers can go behind-the-scenes of the film and deeper into the “thrilling and emotional” (Deadline) legacy of Daniel Craig’s 007.

NO TIME TO DIE returns Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming’s James Bond alongside OSCAR® winner Rami Malek. Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

NO TIME TO DIE stars Daniel Craig (Spectre, Skyfall), Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody, “Mr. Robot”), Léa Seydoux (The French Dispatch, Spectre, Blue is the Warmest Color), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Ben Whishaw (Spectre, Cloud Atlas), Naomie Harris (Spectre, Venom), with Jeffrey Wright (Spectre, Broken Flowers), Christoph Waltz (Spectre, Inglourious Basterds), and Ralph Fiennes (Spectre, The Grand Budapest Hotel).

BONUS FEATURES on 4K UHD, BLU-RAYTM and DVD:
  • ANATOMY OF A SCENE: MATERA – In true Bond fashion, there is an incredible pre-credit sequence featured in No Time To Die. A breathless chase shot in Matera that starts on foot, then motorcycle, then car. Not just any car either - the iconic Aston Martin DB5! Through interviews with Daniel Craig and director Cary Joji Fukunaga, plus on-set interviews with key members of the crew, we discover how the filmmakers shot this breathtaking sequence.
  • KEEPING IT REAL: THE ACTION OF NO TIME TO DIE – In a world full of CGI-heavy action films, the Bond franchise proudly stands out from the crowd for always shooting practical stunts, without the use of special effects. In this piece we see how No Time To Die continues with this tradition with its amazing action sequences.
  • A GLOBAL JOURNEY – Exotic locations are synonymous with all Bond movies and No Time To Die is no different. As well as returning to Bond’s spiritual home, Jamaica, for Daniel Craig’s final outing, we also go on a global journey taking in Italy, Norway and Scotland. We’ll hear from Daniel Craig, Cary Fukunaga, other key cast and filmmakers, on what it was like filming at these spectacular locations.
  • DESIGNING BOND – Production designer Mark Tildesley and costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb, along with cast and other filmmakers, discuss the inspiration, challenges and trials of concepting and making such remarkable sets and costumes for the iconic Bond franchise.
  • BEING JAMES BOND* – In this special 45-minute retrospective, Daniel Craig candidly reflects on his 15-year adventure as James Bond. Including never-before-seen archival footage from Casino Royale to the 25th film No Time To Die, Craig shares his personal memories in conversation with 007 producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, in the lead up to his final performance as James Bond.
*4K UHD Only

NO TIME TO DIE will be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray™ and DVD.
  • 4K Ultra HD delivers the ultimate movie watching experience, featuring the combination of 4K resolution and the color brilliance of High Dynamic Range (HDR).
  • Blu-ray™ unleashes the power of your HDTV and is the best way to watch movies at home, featuring 6X the picture resolution of DVD, exclusive extras and theater-quality surround sound.

Will have to order this for completion's sake, not because I really enjoyed the film. Let's hope they don't mess this UHD up, as they did with Casino Royale, which also was shot on film.

I know the price will go down but $50 list price for the 4K seems excessive. I may wait for the enviable complete Daniel Craig set. I will see once you post the actual press release if there are enough extras to justify the price.

I’m hearing rumors that the older films are coming to 4k disc as soon as December.

I may wait and see how the Craig films are handled. I don’t have any of the films on 4k disc currently but have all on 4k digital.

I’m sure I’ll
Pick this one up….eventually though.

I preordered 'No Time to Die' 4K via Ron's provided link.

As for the other Craig films in 4K.... I already have Spectre in 4K digital because the digital copy code that came with the Blu-ray was redeemable directly at iTunes. When the 4K version became available, my iTunes copy was automatically upgraded to 4K.

I rented the 4K iTunes version of 'Casino Royale' and it didn't look much different than the standard Blu-ray. One of the weakest 4K transfers I've seen. IMHO, if you already own the standard Blu-ray it's pointless to pay ANY money for the current 4K version of 'Casino Royale'. I'm glad I only spent $3.99 instead of 5 times that.

I'll eventually purchase the 4K digital versions of 'Quantum of Solace' and 'Skyfall', when the price is right.

There was a recent iTunes sale on the actor sets. See pic. I think the Pierce ones are $24.

I’ll buy all the films in 4K disc when I can. I’m guessing there may be sets as the did with Daniels first 4. I had that disc set and sold it.

I’ll rebuy when it’s reissued.

The studio listed is Studio Distribution Services which is the joint venture of Universal and Warner Bros so I assume this is being released by Universal. Probably means it will be available at gruv.com and they usually have good sales.

Spectre and No Time to Die are the only Craigs in true 4k. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were finished at 2k and Skyfall was uprezzed in post from 2.8k files.

Well that explains what I saw (or didn't see) when I watched 'Casino Royale' in 4K via my Apple TV.

I guess I won't bother upgrading QOS or Skyfall to 4K either.

Target is showing a $29.99 preorder price for the 4K version of the movie. $20 less than Amazon.

I got rid of all my Bond BDs when I bought the 4K versions digitally on iTunes. For consistency sake, I just plan on picking this up digitally when the price is right, too.

There is a preorder for Goldfinger coming on a 4K Blu-ray steelbook in December.

From the bits:

4K Ultra HD news (or let’s just call it rumor for the moment), the German online retailer JPC has just listed a 4K Ultra HD Steelbook version of the James Bond classic Goldfinger (1964) for release on 12/2. Next year represents the 60th anniversary of the Bond franchise (Dr. No was first released in theaters in 1962), so it seems very likely that we’re going to see a lot of 007 on 4K Ultra HD next year. And for those wondering, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment now holds the domestic US home video distribution rights to the classic Bond films, while Universal holds them internationally (they also have the worldwide rights to No Time to Die and all new films going forward). Sony may retain the US domestic rights to the other Craig films—we’re not 100% sure on that front.

I did the same. I’ll
Pick up the films on disc when they are released. I’m doing the same with Star Trek.

I’ll see what they do with the Craig films on 4k disc before I buy them or I may just pick up the previous set again at some point.

The 4k discs are good but I really dislike the (unnatural) colour palette of Spectre, the first sequence is horrible. The cinematography is nowhere near as good as in Chris Nolan's films. The Bond producers should invite him to make the next one.

It looks like a typo as Amazon has now dropped the pricing down to $29.99 for the 4K disc release.
