ugly subtitles in powerdvd 4 (1 Viewer)

is anyoen else getting ugly, green subtitles when usign powerdvd xp 4.0 in hardware mode?

i have a p4 1.4 ghz, winme, 64mb geforce 2 ultra, and 256mb ram?

i can't stand the way the subtitles look... in software mode, they look fine.

Hi,
this is a common problem with hardware accleration, I think DXVA in WinXP specifically?
you could check more on the issue at something like www.doom9.org (forums)..lots of people there use subs. as you would imagine not too many americans even look at subtitles. I have some favorites of mine that use subs but not many.
