tv projector suggestions please (1 Viewer)

I am working on plans for my halloween display. One thing I've run across is a dvd I can buy that I can use to project different images up over a window for it to be seen at night from outside.


All the site suggests is that it be a tv projector at or above 1800 lumens. Other than that, I'd like to get one that can connect to a dvd player and while not necessarily a top of the line model, one that isn't junk either.


No suggestion either way whether I need a short throw or long throw one either, but since I only need it to project over the window, and it will only be seen from outside, I don't know that either option is an issue since the projector would be set up inside the house.


I'm just curious if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions. I've never owned nor done a bit of research on projectors, so I'm a total newb. Advice appreciated.

You want the image outside, and the projector inside. I don't see how that's possible.

easy....it is projected on a window with a semi-transparent covering on it. The image shows through....and you look and see it from the outside.

I would suggest the gt1080 optoma projector. Its what I have. I got it a few weeks ago. its a short throw.
