Tuning HDTV (1 Viewer)

I am buying a Mitsubishi WS-55859 55 16X9 RPTV which features an integrated HDTV tuner. I have also ordered a Direct TV setup the includes a 18X24 dual LNB dish, a Direct TiVo, and 2 regular Direct TV receivers.

Now I know what comes through the TiVo is not HDTV, though I hope it still looks better than cable and and my old analog RPTV. Do regular Direct TV tuners work HDTV or do you have to buy a special one?

I have been reading about antennas and I just want to be sure what to buy. If I buy a decent antenna like a Channel Master 3021 and run the RG6 cable to the back of my Mitsubishi, will I get HDTV? Is it that simple?

I haven't bought any of the gear yet, I'm doing it all this weekend. Is there anything else I should get or consider?

You should but how far are you away from an HDTV source? I have a roater on mine so I can dial in the off the air HDTV
