1 Excellent condition Toshiba HD-A2 player. I have upgraded to the XA2 so I no longer need this player. Works flawlessly and comes with the box (no UPC), remote, player, composite cables, and instruction manual. I am looking for $90 shipped. Thanks!!

Nobody wants to be a bonehead and buy an HD-DVD player after the format has been declared dead. But I thought you'd be able to get at least $100 for the A2.

Oh well, I bought one last year and still use it. Good player, but considering the death of HD-DVD, it is the 2nd-worst purchase I ever made, right after those "white van" speakers.

I don't regret purchasing it and I personally think that it does a very good job upconverting the SD DVDs...I might just keep it and give it to my parents...

Same boat here ... I'm now using mine solely for SD DVDs! It sends 480i via HDMI to my iScan and the result is a great pic. I figure that the cost of a new DVD player that can do this (e.g. Oppo 980HD) exceeds what I can get for the A2 ...

I thought you would be able to sell it locally at least. I would buy it if not for the shipping and taxes involved.
I bought a local A2 this week for $40, knowing it no longer plays DVDs.
