Toshiba 36HFX72 $1487 good deal? (1 Viewer)

I was ABT in Chicago today and saw the Toshiba 36HFX72 priced for $1478 and wanted to know if this was a good deal.

I also saw the Onkyo HTS-655 HTIB for $348 (return) is this system worth the price to go with this TV.

I have about $2500 to spend on TV and HT set up and can not figure out what how to spend the money (I know rough life). Any suggestions would be welcome.

That is a good price for a great TV, but this week CircuitCity has the Sony KV36HS500 on sale for $1499.99 (Click here). I own two Toshibas, but for essentially the same price I would opt for the Sony with its DVI connection.

the DVI connection is the ONLY reason to take the sony over the toshiba, in my humble opinion the toshiba is superior in every other way.
