So did anyone watch this? On the fence about it. Will give it a few more episodes to make a decision.
Same here! It's too bad it's going to get cancelled. Yes, the Dealer is very interesting with her unique talents.Adam Lenhardt said:I'm really enjoying this one. It's pulpy fun, and I'm intrigued by the Dealer, who is proving to be one of the most interesting TV characters of the fall.
Yes indeed, I like this series, it's too bad not enough viewers are seeing it to save the show. Oh well, four more episodes to go.Bob Gu said:Interesting reveals this week, with both the Dealer and the Player finding things out.
Or was she taken to get Alex to become the player?Walter Kittel said:Enjoyed Wesley Snipes going all 'Blade' this week in his two fights. Also just a touch of his drunken commuter from Money Train in the casino. Still enjoying this series as well.
I'm wondering if Virginia was taken by one of the gamblers to eventually compromise Alex in a very high stakes bet, but wasn't she taken before Alex was approached by Mr. Johnson (Snipes)? Not sure about the timing on those events.

Who is the house beyond Mr. Johnson and Cassandra?Walter Kittel said:Perhaps. If so, then the question becomes was Mr. Johnson complicit? While the most obvious interpretation of Johnson's interference with Alex's hacker buddy (Dustin Ybarra) could be viewed as suspicious we really don't know his motivation. He may have been trying to keep Alex from getting in over his head. I think that Johnson being involved in the abduction is too obvious and that the series will go elsewhere. I believe that there is a lot more territory for the show to explore in terms of 'the House'.
