CH probably listed it as a "You Asked For It!" item because they didn't previously carry Fox titles until within the last 6 or 8 months so. So it was probably recently made available through them.

Yeah, the "widescreen" version has been on shelves since 1999. Only recently did they release a full frame version of the film.

A SE is still in the works, but release looks to be in the cards for 2003.

When that anamorphic SE version comes out, I'll definitely be showing everyone my "Oh!" face... "Oh! The DVD is finally available! Oh! Oh!"

From The Digital Bits.......

"In other news, the Office Space: Special Edition is unfortunately languishing in extended limbo, due to various issues that need to be worked out. Don't expect it anytime soon. Likewise, their True Lies: Five Star Collection disc, which is awaiting the availability of director James Cameron."

D'oh.

Maybe Lorne Michaels is fighting to keep the "Milton" shorts off the disc because it will remind people that SNL used to be funny and he is afraid they will start demanding that of him and his writers/cast again.

NIck,

I'd guess The Bit's source on this is this forum, as Peter Staddon has mentioned the delays here more than once. It appears as if Mike Judge is a busy man...

Does anyone know what a TPS report stands for?
This movie has so many inside jokes, that I know it has to stand for something funny:)
Did anyone catch the name of Peter's apartment ... "Morning Wood Apartments" LOL!

I honestly think this is one of the top 5 funniest movies I have ever seen.

My wife and I have watched it over and over and laugh harder every time.

If they ever do an SE, they should call it the "TPS Report Edition" and the cover art should be the cover sheet of the TPS report.

Okay......somebody Please tell me why I should watch this film....

Please? Just about all of my "local" friends say this movie is stupid, but it is revered here @ HTF.

So someone give me a good reason or 2 to give this film a spin...

Calvin...why do you need a reason...rent it and find out for yourself.

...but, if you work in a cubicle, it's guaranteed to make you laugh.

I think the humor is very poignant to anyone who works in a "cubicle farm" environment. If you haven't worked in that situation, much of the subtle humor may be lost on you...
