(Very!) Nice to be able to see this in a (decent) mainstream-ish theater here in NYC, especially at an AMC (w/ my A-List membership), not just an indy arthouse like The Angelika.

Apparently headlined by 3 old-ish (though I suppose still mostly fairly young looking... at least to western eyes) HK favorites (all of whom rose to various degrees of stardom circa the early-to-mid-80's initially via HK TVB... like a lot of such HK stars, including Chow Yun-Fat, who's probably become too big and possibly too western-exposed for this I suppose)... Many should at least recognize the presumed lead, Tony Leung (at least from various Wong Kar-Wai films, eg. In the Mood for Love and Chungking Express), though the other two (Andy Lau and especially Simon Yam, who's most likely in minor/supporting role) might not be quite as recognizable unless one watches plenty of HK films (and/or HK TVB shows of the 80's) that don't get nearly as much exposure outside dedicated HK/Chinese film (and TV) circles...

Was originally planning to see this earlier this week, but now probably midweek next week instead...
