I saw this at FF at the urging of a friend. I enjoyed it despite usually loathing Lionel. I though do think he's wonderful in Grand Hotel. I thought it a very odd film to be put out post code by MGM. Did Louis B. Mayer not notice? After Freaks I would have thought he kicked Browning over to Universal.
