My order for T3 hasn't shipped from Amazon either. I have T3, The Fast and the Furious and Red Dragon all on the same order. What pisses me off is that by the looks of it, some people who placed their pre-orders for T3 after me received their copy from Amazon already or has had their order shipped. I placed my order on 9/9. Right now I have an estimated ship date of 10/11!

It may be time to look elsewhere - even if it means having to pay more. I'm not going to go though this again with Batman Begins and the Superman films and every other new release. In the end, the savings just really doesn't seem worth it.

They filled my pre-order....strange. I just checked the tracking # and will arrive Friday. I'm really not gloating as I'll be out of town anyway. :D I do hope you guys get your order shipped soon.

I canceled my pre-order. T3 is getting very lack-luster reviews and being that I own the SD-DVD that will do just fine so I'm not even going to buy the HD-DVD. The other titles I'll pick up locally when they street.

Soon Target will start stocking HD-DVD titles, Oct. 3rd I believe and they should have pricing close to if not the same as Amazon.

It does seem that there are mixed reviews. Some are boasting a solid transfer, and others (namely non review sites) say it's just average. Who to believe? I'll post a review early next week when I get back in town. :)

I look forward to it Tim.

I've been reading that the image is soft and lacks that hi-def punch. Add to that, no TrueHD track and it's just not one I really want to drop $20 on.

I just walked into BB today and purchased T3 for $21.99. I would hate paying for a movie and having to wait for it to become available.

Hey Harminder,

Did End Of Days contain a Dolby True HD track on it or was it Dolby Digital Plus? I have heard that if is supposed to have a DTHD track but the only info from web sites I have found like DVD Empire says DD+.

I purchased this HD-DVD (T3) and did find the transfer solid but yes it was a bit soft but still a huge step above SDVD. I did find the end credits a bit strange to watch though as that was very soft to be honest it seemed to be upconverted from SDVD as when the sound formats get listed towards the end the small letters are just hard to read but small letters in the Terminator's POV were very clear and easy to read. I just found that odd. Color and contrast was excellent accross the board. As far as sharpness this may have been deliberate as to make the CGI mix better with the live action and it would not be the first time.

Later everyone

My order shipped as well.

I'd be surprised if this doesn't look great. The SD DVD version was very good.

This was shot in Super 35, so it may not be as sharp as other titles.

I picked up T3 at BB today, exchanged my Constantine disk for it due to the lip-sync issue. The price on T3 was $21.99, only $2 more then Amazon and no waiting for the disk to arrive.

Yeah, but if you buy 3 HD discs in an order from Amazon, you can get 10% of all HD discs for a year. That knocks another $2 off, plus whatever you might save in sales tax. For me, it was $5.36 cheaper to get it from Amazon. ($17.95 vs. $23.31) With a free trial of Amazon Prime, you get 2-day shipping at no charge. Just FYI.

Yep, your'e right, but I was out 2+ weeks according to Amazon so I canceled my order. I'm not waiting that long for my movies just to save a few bucks.
