By the time Big came around I was already a big Tom Hanks fan. I would think Splash would be the movie that launched him.
I could go either way. Feel free to nom Splash if you want, but only one of those films can make it in. Same goes for the nominated Matthew Broderick films.

List updated.

Nominate:

Clint Eastwood (Dirty Harry)
Kurt Russell (The Thing) or would it be Escape From New York?

Second:
DeNiro, Godfather II
Dreyfuss, Jaws (though I'm thinking maybe American Graffiti is more of the star-making)

I think Clint Eastwood should really be Fistful of Dollars, not Dirty Harry.

Dreyfuss is debatable, but I think Eastwood's a no-brainer.

Evan, I agree. You can nominate Eastwood for AFOD. Interesting to see which one would make it in.

I'm out of noms, but if I've been given another one then I'll use it for Clint Eastwood - A Fistful of Dollars

Okay, two more noms, seconds, and thirds for everyone. :)

Evan, I went ahead and put Clint Eastwood on the noms list for A Fistful of Dollars - that's one of your two new noms. :)
