Sony is introducing the 2022 Bravia XR TV lineup at CES this week including two new Mini LED models with ‘XR Backlight Master’ tech, three Master Series OLED models, and a new 4K LED model. The company says the new line provides enhanced audio and processors, as well as a newly developed camera device for home calibration. This will analyze home surroundings in real time to display the most accurate picture with audio synchronization.
Sony is also unveiling a software update for the HT-A7000 and HT-A5000 soundbars. This will add 360 spatial sound capabilities first found on the HT-A9 home theater system in 2011. This can be accessed by connecting a soundbar to the new SA-RS5 wireless rear speakers (to be launched in spring 2022), or the currently available SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers.
Below is a list of models and respective features direct from Sony Electronics. For more information, visit Sony...

Love Caleb's A95K review! Mimics my findings when I spent time with the 65A95K at Sony's US HQ. A95K is coming very soon!

Sony just gave us the first allocation of their new 2022 75" and 85" X95K TVs! They are scheduled to arrive Monday, April 11th.

I saw the X95K on my three recent visits to Sony's San Diego, CA HQ and at Sony's NYC's Diamond Dealer meeting. This is the biggest advancements in MiniLED display technology and the new 2022 2nd Generation XR processor.

I was just looking over the FAQ page for Sony's Bravia Core streaming service and cannot believe Sony is still not including gigabit ethernet for wired connections on their TVs, thus limiting input to 100 Mbps.

And am I reading the materials correctly - there is no real way to actually purchase movies other than buying more Sony TVs? That, and not being a member of Movies Anywhere, I see this service going to the Sony Streaming Service Graveyard along with ULTRA and Playstation VUE.

Sorry to say it's common for all brands of TVs and audio equipment to be limited to 100 Mbps for the hard wired connection, but that is more than enough bandwidth to download any Bravia Core movie without any issues. If your Wi Fi signal is strong Sony's Wi Fi speed is gigabit.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe after you use the 10 free latest released movies you can purchase additional new releases as you like. For Sony Master Series OLED TVs you get 2 years of Bravia Core movies at no charge. After the free 2 years you can purchase Bravia Core so no need to buy more Sony TVs just to continue watching Bravia Core movies.

This is what I saw in the FAQ:

Can I purchase movies or TV episodes from the BRAVIA CORE™ service?

No additional purchases can be made on BRAVIA CORE™ at this time. BRAVIA CORE™ is a redemption-only platform and requires a voucher code to register an account.

I'll check further and get back here. Can't imagine Sony not wanting to sell more Sony Pictures movies and Columbia movies on their streaming service.
