Simon & Shuster will release a book & DVD called "What We Saw: The Events of Sept. 11 in Words, Pictures and Video" in August 2002.

No details are listed about the DVD.
All I know is that the DVD is hosted by Dan Rather and contains footage from the CBS News Archives.
Price is $29.95 for the Hardcover book and DVD.

Thank you for posting this. I have eschewed the various DVDs of the 9-11 events so far, being concerned about tastefulness and longevity. I don't think there are any fears from this one, especially if A) Dan Rather/CBS News is doing it, and B) it accompanies a hardcover book which explains the events, and the DVD is actually a companion piece.
Sounds good. Thanks for sharing; I'll add it to my wishlist.
