I see that Short Circuit is being re-released on Feb. 3. Does anyone know if it is the same transfer/disc with a lower price, or are they giving us an anamorphic transfer this time? Here's hoping...

I'm not sure if it's identical to the original release, but here's the listing on DVD Empire. There's some nice extras on it, and they only have it priced at $6.99!

Your link doesn't appear to point to this title, search doesn't bring it up, and I don't see it on the preorder list for 2/3.

Its listed for 2/3 at DeepDiscountDVD.com with a price of 10 something. No details on the title. Ditto at Amazon, with a price of 13.

Okay, this is weird. DVDempire.com has now removed the link from their site. It was there yesterday, with a release date of Feb 3 and a pre-order price of $6.99, but now the listing for the DVD is gone.
