That just about sums it all up. Earth 2 and Captain Power should be relatively easy to release...there was only one season of each show produced. And seaQuest can package the second and third year's together, because they were both shorter than the first.

Is there any interest out there for these to be released and is there any rumor, grumbling or news?

I would definitely buy Seaquest. As a matter of fact it's one of the only shows that I would buy on DVD.

Earth 2 was one of my favorite shows when it was on. However, if I remember correctly, the show ended on a cliffhanger. If so, I'm not sure how interested I'll be since it's always frustrating to own a show that ends before the story's resolved.

I remember Captain Power as a kid and liked it. I never saw Earth 2 & Seaquest when they were on. I hope they come out though.

In the re-airings of Earth2 on Scifi, they switched the order of the last couple of episodes. It wasn't an elegant solution, but it brought the characters back to the edge of the precipice, rather than dangling over it... ;)

I dunno why I liked EARTH 2, but I did-it didnt really have much of a 'sci-fi thing' about it, or SPFX, save the underground people-It could just as easily have been titled: 'Team exploration of the New Mexico foothills'....

I'd pick up both Earth 2 and SeaQuest season sets in a heartbeat, but I don't know how likely it is for either series to get a DVD release. SeaQuest seems the most probable given it's quasi-popularity, but who knows.

If I remember right, both seaQuest and Earth 2 were Amblin/Universal properties. Maybe once NBC gets Universal's house in order, they'll release them through Lion's Gate if, for no other reason, than they were both NBC shows.

Actually, CAPTAIN POWER lasted two seasons. It was a pretty cool show for the budget it was given. For you B5 fans, a lot of it was written by J. Michael Straczynski. Plus, any show with Sven Ole Thorssen is okay by me!

^ I thought Power only lasted one year before Mattel pulled the plug on the toys, thus killing the show. I know a second season of episodes was written, but not produced. Still, if a second season was produced, it shouldn't be all that hard to do the entire series on one set (they were 30 minutes each right?).
