Margaux Hemingway makes her film debut as a high-fashion model who is violated as much by "the system" as she is by her rapist. Chris Sarandon (Fright Night, Child’s Play) plays the low-key music teacher who brutally attacks her and forces her to the point of desperation-- and revenge. As Margaux's lawyer, Academy-Award winner Anne Bancroft (The Graduate) gives a brilliant, uncompromising portrayal of a woman who takes on the legal system to define the rights of women in this complex and controversial issue. The film also features Mariel Hemmingway (Star 80) and Perry King (Class of 1984).
