I apologize if this has been asked already...

Does the progressive scan light on the front of the RP 91 go out after a certain period of time? and if so is there a way to make it stay on?

The factory setting is that it stays on. If you go to the user menu and choose "Auto" for the dimmer option, it will turn the blue light off after a few seconds (but it will re-light at the press of a button on the unit or remote, I believe).
