As a collector of Mitchum on dvd I have come across a spanish website called dvdgo, that carries lots of noir and westerns that I cannot get here in the states, LIKE...
BLOOD ON THE MOON
THE RACKET
MACAO
HIS KIND OF WOMEN
ANGEL FACE
the UK has FAREWELL MY LOVELY which is going for big bucks in region one. Now, last time the Warner brothers guys did a chat they spoke of a R.Mitchum box in 06'including THE YAKUZA maybe. anybody else have any info on other Mitchum dvd's in other regions?

I believe that dvdgo.com.com also has 'Second Chance' with R. Mitchum.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0046288/
http://www.dvdgo.com/product~catgid~...ond+Chance.htm

Some of the same titles are also available at amazon.fr from Editions Montparnasse and, in my opinion, are of a better quality than their Spanish counterparts, for example:
1. Angel Face:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...052184-6053718

2. Macao:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...052184-6053718

Amazon.fr also has:
1. My Forbidden Past:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...052184-6053718

2. Big Steal:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...052184-6053718

3. Farewell My Lovely (will be released on January 12, 2006):
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...052184-6053718

I also found Farewell My Lovely in region 4 (Australia):

Hi Eric,
The French Edition Montparnasse titles DO NOT have forced subtitles.

Michael Winner's remake of The Big Sleep is available in an anamorphic 1.78:1 transfer in both R2 and R4, as opposed to the apparently fullscreen only release in R1.

The R2 version of Dick Richards' Farewell, My Lovely is 1.33:1 only, just like the R1 and R4 releases; does anyone know whether these are open matte or pan and scan transfers, and also what ratio the French R2 release is in?

I'd love to see a DVD release of Pollack's The Yakuza.

All the other Mitchum films mentioned here are RKO pictures, and so will (I believe) be distributed by Warner in R1, which is personally what I am waiting for. I am hoping that some will appear in Warner's next film noir set, especially Preminger's Angel Face.

THE BIG SLEEP remake with mitchum is a terrible film . I agree that the RKO noirs will eventually be released by the WB NOIR collections but his 1970's films like FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE,GOING HOME,THE YAKUZA, NEED SOME DVD TREATMENT

I also agree that most of the RKO titles will eventually make it to region 1. The question is 'When'. In some cases (for example, Magnificent Ambersons which is available in both Spain and France) there are some legal aspects involved and it may take a very long time to see it released in region 1. According to some rumors, The Yakuza is supposed to be released by WB in 2006.

Robert Mitchum is definitely under-represented on DVD :). I'd say my own personal top three out of those not yet released in R1 are The Yakuza , The Friends of Eddie Coyle and Angel Face . I've got high hopes the first and last see the light of day this year but I'm not so optimistic about Eddie .
