I just wanted to know if anyone knew when
Ripley's Game will get a theatrical release.
I remember hearing it was sopposed to be released
in 2002, it than changed to early 20003 and now
I haven't heard anything in a while. Anyone have
any updates?.

I've read this is a solid film but apparently, there's no domestic release in sight. It has been released on DVD, however, in Italy. A review can be found at Mondo Digital.

I believe Ripley's Game has skipped theatrical distribution, seeing as how it "premiered" on the IFC channel a few weeks back.

Thats quite a wait. I'm not sure people will still be watching movies then. Those dammed dirty apes may not allow it.


I saw Ripley's Game at a film festival. It was decent but nothing special. The story didn't really go anywhere.
