reciever and optical not working!!!!!! (1 Viewer)

i have tried hooking both my ps3 and 360 up to my KLH r5000 reciever and it will randomly have breaks where no sound will come out of the speakers no matter im watching a movie, games, music, anything. ive played with a ton of settings on the reciever but have nothing

anyone know why?

You can replace it with a brand new one for $99 on eBay (KLH HOME THEATER RECEIVER AUDIO SYSTEMS R5000 ~NEW~ - eBay (item 380003466148 end time Apr-04-08 18:35:41 PDT)) so it doesn't seem like it's worth fixing. JMO

well i will soon. im moving in june and when i get to my new house i will pick one that i want. i mean i know i need something new. brand new tv, 360, ps3 and an 8 year old receiver

i just replaced the cable and the issue was fixed
