Hi All,

I recently bought a NEC 6PG+ and wanted to hook up my HD digital cable terminal to it (Scientific Atlanta). Unfortunately the cable box has component out, and the NEC 6PG has RGB-HV inputs.

Any sugestions? Can I plug the HD-component signals into my scaler (Crystal Image VS4.0). I can't find anywhere in the crappy manual the input locking range of the component inputs.

Or do I have to get a transcoding box to convert from component-HD to RGB?

LMK?

Thanks,

SLam

Steve,

You have to do #2. The component inputs are interlaced inputs. Key Digital makes an HD component to VGA converter. You can go VGA to the Crystalimage and you're there. Good luck.
