Pardon my possible ignorance, but is this an online version of white van speakers? (1 Viewer)

Anyone heard of "Pyramid 3 Way Home Speakers"? I saw them in an eBay auction:

I've never heard of these speakers in magazines or on message boards. Note that the seller provides no relevant specs. such as frequency range or sensitivity. Are these white-van variety speakers or are we talking about real speakers here?

Keith, you have every reason to be skeptical...I'd never heard of them either, and they are being bid at a pretty low price for "really big speakers for your house". (The line I heard from the white van guys regarding their product "offering" which pretty well covered what they coukd share about the specs).
But a Net search yielded http://www.onlinestagegear.com/pages-misc/HSP6.html and http://www.fantasticdeals.com/Scream...ProductID=4236 among others. So they do exist "for real" but their specs are not particularly impressive. Looks like the e-bay bidder(s) have offered about what they are worth (which puts them right down there with the white van "brand). :>)
I'd say "move on, there's nothing to see here." :>)

yeah Pyramid is cheapo car audio stuff you see at flea markets and stuff. never heard of them making home audio stuff though. it's probably just as bad!

Thanks for the info., all. I wasn't about to buy these speakers, but I was interested to find that some of you have heard of the company for car audio.

The Pyramids are being sold for dirt cheap, and the "white van" Dynalab stuff is sold at outrageous prices. Nothing wrong with selling junk at low prices, selling junk at high prices is wrong *cough* Bose *cough*, so that’s the difference
