This was won of the last great TV western series, even won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. A former gunfighter takes in his deceased sister's four children to the town of Paradise, where he becomes the sheriff.
Warner Archive released the 1st season, 3 or 4 years ago when they ran the service. But has never released Season 2 or 3. Season 2 was great especially the 2 part tribute "A Gathering of Guns" a great tribute to the old 50s TV westerns with Hugh O'Brian and Gene Barry among others.
All Warner Archive releases now is western film titles that have been out numerous times like "Ride The High Country" again this month and "The Left Handed Gun and "The Stalking Moon". They have not released and new western TV series in a couple of years. I would have though they would at least finish their 50s series, namely "Colt 45 and The Alaskans". The can't figure out that collectors will buy new stuff that has never been on DVD etc, but we are tired of re-released films and TV shows.
