An Oscar nominee for best supporting actress for The Rose Tattoo (1955), she also starred in Drum Beat (1954) with Alan Ladd, Diane (1956) with Lana Turner, Man In The Gray Flannel Suit (1956) with Gregory Peck and Solomon And Sheba (1959) with Yul Brynner among many others.
