Don't they realize that they are only making the situation worse? They are actually now promoting DVDs without black bars, as if the bars were a bad thing in the first placeactually, its not a bad business move. as much as i hate this idea, they will probably sell a bunch of dvds twice, because people wont have 4:3 screens forever. when they upgrade to 16:9 screens, all of a sudden they have a dvd that looks silly in stretch mode, or has black bars on the sides. then they will sell that same customer who bought a 4:3 dvd originally, a 16:9 dvd. hopefully then the sticker will read "no black bars on the sides"
