Screw it. I'm not buying it. Come to think of it, I'm thinking of boycotting ALL Sony products of any kind.

Glad I have the widescreen laserdisc- of course it's got laser rot!

Yeah. That Sony LD facility in Terre Haute, IN was origin of the most laser-rot-prone discs of that old format.

Another one for which I'll be waiting for a Japanese or Korean disc.

Now an episode on S6 of "Sanford and Son" is cut...one that I believe was on the Columbia House tapes uncut (I'll check within the next week).

At least with Annie you can get a R2 Japanese OAR version. Not so with this one (it seems), nor the TV titles.

Think I'll sell my Sony DVD player and get me a nice Pioneer model.

If anyone wants to help me draft an "official" list of complaints to send to the home office, I'm open to suggestions.

Actually Matilda has been released in Region 2 OAR. amazon.co.uk has it for pretty cheap.

But the UK is PAL while Japan is NTSC, like the US.
