Need a refresher on XP install (1 Viewer)

Its been a while since I installed Windows XP, so I don't remember if what I want is part of the set-up process.
I'm going to do a clean install on XP Home on a virgin hard drive next week on my parents computer. Does the set-up have an option to create a partition? I know it can make a partition to the NTFS format. I want to split an 80gig hard drive into two partitions. If it's not an option during the install I will do it before hand on their old computer.

Thanks

You can create partitions during the install process. It'll show "unallocated space" on your drive and you can create a partition when that menu comes up.
