biggest problem, imo:
when i come to HTF, the lightbulbs on the main page work fine, telling me whether or not a catagory has new posts, but when i go to a catagory that has new posts, all of the folders in that catagory are yellow or green. none of the threads with new posts are marked red, even tho they are new and have moved to the top. i have reset cookies and cleared cache.
smaller problem:
when i set my prefs, my username is saved but some of my other prefs are don't stick, eg. time zone. i have switched off time zones and for that session it will remain off, but next time i come back to HTF, they are on again.

Craig, I'm having that first problem, too. But only on my IE6 at home. On my IE5.5 at work, it's fine...
Interesting...

Mike:
Sorry. I had to code it that way are you would be posting and replying on the old site.
Criag and Mike:
This is a cookie problem on your computer. You have to manually delete any old cookie that you have on your computer for HTF and then reset a new one. You can read how to do this on the Preferences page. This should resolve your situations.
Mike is right about the IP address and domain address. Until the domain name of hometheaterforum.com is propogated down thru the net, which can take a few days, the only access you have to this new server is by using the IP address.

I'm still having problems. I deleted my cookies and logged on at the "Not Cookied?" form. I then went to the Test forum and posted some messages to make the cookies stick, as outlined in the Preferences page. When I go away and come back, I have to log in again. And, the red and blue flags aren't showing up.
Will this go away in a couple of days, or is there something else I have to do?
