For ultimate-quality two-channel audio playback, the SR9300's exclusive ADDC (Adaptive Double Differential Control) circuitry reconfigures its D/A converters to dual-differential stereo audio mode for the highest-possible audio quality and lowest noise. A built-in HDCD® decoder provides the superior sonic benefits of HDCD playback from CD players and DVD players without HDCD capability. The receiver also features a Video Off mode that switches off the video circuitry for lowest interference during audio-only playback.
The receiver delivers an authoritative 140 watts (into 8 ohms) of discrete high-current amplification into all seven of its main channels, enabling it to drive even inefficient audiophile loudspeakers to generous volume levels in large rooms. The SR9300 is engineered to deliver an extraordinary level of sonic realism, incorporating refinements such as current feedback amplification for all channels, a massive power supply with a custom toroidal transformer, extensive internal shielding and premium internal components for maximum sonic purity.
The Marantz SR9300 provides the most comprehensive complement of inputs, outputs and switching facilities of any Marantz receiver ever created. It offers no less than four wide-bandwidth, HDTV-compatible component video inputs, plus S-video and composite video inputs, multiple digital and analog audio inputs including a front panel optical digital input, plus a wide variety of audio and video outputs. The SR9300 is designed to function as an all-in-one, whole-house A/V system controller, featuring audio and video multi-room operation with configurable amplifier output and an improved multi-room on-screen display.
