I am considering purchasing the Mad Catz Ultra AV Kit. It comes with the junction box and all the cables(composite, S-video, component, analog and digital optical cables) for $29.99. Has anyone had any experience with this?

You're talking about the one for the XBox right?

From what I remember, Mad Catz was made aware that the first "run" wouldn't pass a Dolby Digital signal correctly to your receiver, as far as I know they've fixed that problem. Just hope you get one of the "good" ones or the store you buy it from takes returns just in case.

Yes, for the X-box.

If I buy it, I will probably buy it online since the one local store (EBGames) doesn't have it in stock. I would be able to return it to them minus the shipping charge, if there is something wrong with it.
