This is great news. One of my favorites. A beautiful film about the madness of war (and we may need that sentiment again). Region A. And from Cohen Media. I hope they do The Day the Earth Caught Fire next, one of the best and smartest films about journalism, ironically (and some radical ass climate change).

I had given up hoping MGM would release this to Blu-ray, as their letterbox DVD was pretty crumby, but coming from Cohen, at least we know this will be a quality product.

As for THE DAY THE EARTH CAUGHT FIRE, the British release is excellent. Go region-free! One of the best (small) investments a film collector can make.

I forgot there's a Region B already of The Day the Earth Caught Fire, but I hope they'll also release the Region A. Maybe I'll go Region-free next player, if there's still physical media around.

I'm pleased that this one is coming in a new restoration. A real cult classic. I'm waiting from Cohen a 'fixed' Howard's End.
