If you like undemanding fare, it's not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. It's an Arnie bit from the period when he was a mega-action star, and he was attempting to broaden his appeal to the demographic outside the testosterone-charged R-rated action pictures he was churning out at the end of the 80's, pre-Terminator 2. Concept movie-making from the 1980's: put this robotic killing machine (who has a hard-core fan-base) into absurd comedy situations, to broaden his appeal. Get the director from Meatballs, Stripes and mega-hit Ghostbusters and the public will come in their droves. Thus: Twins - Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger, separated at birth - haha! Kindergarden Cop - huge, muscular, he-man, pistol-packing policeman, surrounded by adorable six year olds - haha! Junior - Arnold - pregnant - haha! It was quite well received. But then Arnie made Jingle All the Way - which really tanked and Ivan Reitman sort off went off the boil, so Arnie's dreams of being something other than a giant, muscular shooting-machine, were subsequently rather quashed.

I rather like watching Hollywood fare from the 80's and 90's now, not quite sure why. Age, probably.
