I've never corrected anyone, but there are a large number of people that use it's when referring to possession. Just yesterday someone wrote that I was being rediculous. No wonder the SAT's had to be scaled down. Oh and just to jab the O.P. a bit ... if you are referring to the Internet that hosts the Web, it is with a capital I.
