I need someone to tell me if this was a good deal (1 Viewer)

I just pulled the trigger on a used Rotel RMB-1075 for $695. I was watching a few ebay auctions... one 1075 went for $785. The other went for $850.

I didn't want to go over $750, so I feel good about the price. What do people think? $695 for a 6-month-old amp that wasn't used much?

I should have it in my posession in a couple of days. I won't be using it until I decide on getting the Rotel RSP-1066 or Outlaw 950. I have 10 days left to decide about the 950...my spot on the waiting list came up finally.

That sounds good. There have been some great deals online lately. Probably from peoples unfortunate situations (losing jobs, etc). I bought 2 rotel cd players for $100 less (each) than I sold them for on Ebay.

That's a pretty good price. I've got the previous generation 985mk2 (looks like the twin brother to the 1075) for $500 from an HTF member about a year ago. I really like it. Similar specs (110W/ch) but I'm sure the 1075 is probably a bit better since it's a newer design.

BTW, I think that's a $999 MSRP so you got 30% off.
